Paris and Being Prepared

In the wake of the Paris attacks, more and more eloquent stories of tragedy and heroism are flying around the internet. The events have been written from every perspective and by every journalist. The repercussions of these events will haunt not only the governments of France and her neighbors but, more strongly the families of those killed, and most strongly those who lived through it all. Not to be profound, but this matter has really highlighted how everything can end in a second, regardless of how well you planned.

The Coppola Firm represents those people who have planned ahead, and we know that, while the families may not be thanking their lucky stars that their estate plans are being used at all, they are in good hands. I do not want to capitalize on a tragedy to sell estate-planning services, nor will we ever do so. I take solace in the fact that families under my care can be protected after any event. Now is not a time to be depressed or dejected. It is rather a time to bolster ourselves for the future, whatever threats we may face in the future, it is good to know that you are prepared, because for over 120 souls in Paris the extremely unexpected was very possible.
